June 10th, Fat Wreck WhoresI'm super excited to introduce everyone to our new Fat Wreck Whores band: The Catastrophe. What's really cool about this edition of Fat Wreck Whores is that we have the privilege of introducing two newly recorded songs from this band, I'm hoping this become a trend! 2) Not This Time: The band is also preparing to play shows with STRUNG OUT and ANTI-FLAG. Interesting story, the two founding members of this band did a small stint in a band called "Half White" which later became Fat Wreck's own Pour Habit. This is good old 90s style California pop punk. Recently they've signed Teenage Bottlerocket, Pour Habit, and Teen Idols. As excited as this makes us, it also piles on a lot more work for us: creating the pages, finding the lyrics, completing a discography, etc... A punk rock band from Australia that I have been loving for the last year. The thing I appreciate most about them is their ability to surmise everything I loved about 90s punk rock without sounding like it's a forced sound or that they're copying the sound. We've added links to Fat Wreck Whores and the The Fat Wiki Myspace, as well as those nice graphics that allow one click access to a ton of the wikis on the site. We're slowly, but surely, getting the NOFX wiki content filled in. Also, we're giving out Super Contributor status on the board for those who help edit the wiki.
