Feb-24-2009 - Coaster and Frisbee

Despite annoying rumors that the new NOFX album is called 'Down The Hatch', it turns out that it's actually called Coaster. Fat announced this today, as well a release called Frisbee available on vinyl (which may or may not be the vinyl version of Coaster).

Jan-15-2009 - Backstage Passport Dvd's

NOFX: Backstage Passport first aired in April 2008 on Fuse TV, and back by popular demand, it will now be released in its entirety right here on Fat Wreck Chords.

On March 17th NOFX: Backstage Passport will be available on DVD! This 2-disc set will include all 8 original episodes, plus OVER 2 HOURS of uncensored, never-before-seen bonus footage! You thought the absinthe-chugging Kent on the train to Russia scene was funny? Well, wait til you see what happens when he’s drunk in public at the Rio airport and the Brazilian cops get involved.


Jan-02-2009 - Album of Punk Covers

Melvin was recently quoted in an interview as saying...

"We were in the studio practicing some of the new songs, and we covered...I can't even remember right now. Anyways, we thought it would be fun to do all these old harcore songs that we all love..."

2009 is supposed to bring a huge announcement from NOFX, as well as the possibility of the 25 years DVD.


Dec-15-2008 - 25 Anniversary Shows

NOFX are turning 25 this year! To commemorate this historic event, they will play three special anniversary shows in February. All four eras of NOFX will be represented both in person and in song, with old members of the band showing up to play some old tunes:

  • The Three Piece Era, 1983 – 1987: Fat Mike, Smelly, Melvin

  • The Casillas Era, 1987 – 1988: Fat Mike, Smelly, Melvin, Dave Casillas

  • The Kidwiler Era, 1988 – 1991: Fat Mike, Smelly, Melvin, Steve Kidwiler

  • The El Hefe Era, 1991 – Present: Fat Mike, Smelly, Melvin, El Hefe
