19 July, 2016 - First Ditch Effort

Let’s be real: What’s really left to say about NOFX? For over thirty years the reigning kings of punk rock have remained relevant by continuing to push the boundaries of their music, lyrics and good taste in a way that’s as endearing as it is infectious. For that reason it’s remarkably apt that the band’s latest LP First Ditch Effort is also their thirteenth because ominous black clouds hang over this collection of songs that see frontman/bassist Fat Mike exploring self-loathing and mortality in a more raw and honest way than he ever has before. Mike credits much of this to the writing process behind NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub And Other Stories, the band’s New York Times Bestselling memoir that forced him to confront his ghosts and revisit his past in ways that weren’t always comfortable. 12 Apr, 2016 - The Hepatitis Bathtub And Other Stories

NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories is the first tell-all autobiography from one of the world's most influential and controversial punk bands. Alongside hilarious anecdotes about pranks and drunkenness and teenage failures -- featuring the trademark NOFX sense of humor -- the book also shares the ugliness and horror the band members experienced on the road to becoming DIY millionaires. Fans and non-fans alike will be shocked by stories of murder, suicide, addiction, counterfeiting, riots, bondage, terminal illness, the Yakuza, and pee . . . lots and lots of pee. Told by each of the band members (and two former members), NOFX looks back at more than thirty years of comedy, tragedy, and completely inexplicable success. More info!

10 Jun, 2015 - BACKSTAGE PASSPORT 2! Out August 21!

In 2008 punk veterans NOFX released an 8-part TV docu- series called NOFX: Backstage Passport, which followed the band’s ill-fated attempts to take punk rock to the unconquered corners of the globe. The mayhem that ensued was a mix of hilarious moments and crazy snafus that resulted in some shows on the tour being cancelled. Over the following four years NOFX set out to make up several shows in Mexico, Peru and Colombia that got derailed on their first attempt. Not surprisingly there were just as many bumps in the road this time around: inner-band meltdowns, shady promoters, tear gas, fires, drugs, an 8.8 earthquake and, of course, riot cops. Once again the cameras were there to capture every inglorious moment and on August 21st, we’ll release Backstage Passport 2! In addition to the feature-length documentary, the two disc set contains two “lost episodes” (Australia and Eastern Europe) from the original Backstage Passport series and loads of unreleased bonus footage. Don’t miss NOFX on tour! They’ll be jumping the pond this month to perform at a few festivals and then joining Alkaline Trio and Lagwagon on a proper UK run! In August, NOFX headline the Fat Wrecked For 25 Years tour so don’t delay, grab your tickets today!

03 Jan, 2013 - NOFX 30th Anniversary Box Set! Quintessential California punk band NOFX celebrate their monumental 30th anniversary this year by announcing the release of a limited edition LP box set on February 19, 2013. The box contains all 12 studio albums, from 1988’s Liberal Animation through 2012’s Self Entitled, plus the epic EP The Decline, which we think qualifies as an album anyway, and for the first time ever, the entire 7-inch of the Month Club series from 2005-2006 on a double LP. In addition, all box sets include a life-size version of NOFX’s infamous stage banner, and the first 250 copies we have for sale are signed by the band! So what are you waiting for? We’ve only got 1,000 copies and they’re all on colored vinyl (blue is exclusive to the Fat webstore) . Once they’re gone, you’ll have to troll around on ebay and that is fundamentally no fun. Pre-order now!. Even Fat Mike thinks it’s neat:

“I was so proud of this Box Set that I brought one home and put it on the mantle above my fireplace. It broke the mantle and melted. Now I need a new one. Mantle that is. The Box Set is fine!”

Xmas may have been X’ed back in September when Self Entitled dropped, but given that this is the last Christmas, we thought we should spoil you with one last NOFX limited edition vinyl release. It’s the third single of the year from NOFX, and a double A-side at that: Xmas Has Been X’ed / New Year’s Revolution. The A-side is classic NOFX, a true punk rock Christmas anthem to be filed right next to Fear’s Fuck Christmas. And in typical NOFX fashion, it’s a Christmas story wherein the Jews come out on top. Shocker. Now flip the record over to the AA-side and you’ve got your “New Year’s Revolution,” an outtake from the Self Entitled sessions, followed by a new recording of the much-loved but overlooked gem “Wore out the Soles of My Party Boots.” If you pre-order now, you’ll get the digital copy delivered to you on December 25th, but you gotta wait til the new year to get your vinyl mailed to you. Check the killer original art for both sides below, and pre-order it today!

24 Jan, 2012 - 126" of NOFX is announced

FAT announced the release of a limited edition NOFX deluxe box set, said to contain 18 classic NOFX 7”s. Each 7” will have enhanced artwork and the records will be remastered. There will be two versions of the box set, a ‘Special edition’ with each 7” being pressed on a different, special vinyl color and a ‘standard edition’ in gold colour, limited to 1,800 copies and also available in stores. The set will comprise of 17 previously available 7"s plus the long anticipated Thalidomide Child EP, a demo dating back from 1984. Release date is set for April 24, 2012.

16 Jun, 2011 - NOFX Hardcore compilation is announced

A long time topic on the rumour mill, FAT have announced the release of NOFX's next compilation as a "9-song record of hardcore covers" by posting a crude picture of the NOFX logo arranged as a NYHC crest drawn with permanent marker on a white paper sleeve. Although no format is stated this FAT release with Cat# FAT 773 is expected to be a 10". Release date is set for August 2nd, 2011.

21 Jun, 2010 - NOFX The Longest EP August 17th

As most of you know, four days ago Fat Mike set up his own twitter account. Well, it took him all of two days to scoop us on a news story, post some incomplete artwork for an upcoming NOFX release, and set off various threads of misinformation in the blogosphere… talk about your classic backfire. So, now is probably a good time for us to step in and give you the straight dope.

On August 17th we’ll be releasing NOFX’s The Longest EP, a collection of 30 EP tracks from 1987 to 2009, plus rarities, out of print stuff and previously unreleased outtakes. Instead of paying like $30 for the 5 EP’s, you can get em all on one CD for $10. The artwork was done by the same artist who did the artwork for The Longest Line! In conjunction with this release the other EP’s will be going out of print. One other tidbit, the double lp will be a limited pressing! Get the original CD’s while you still can…

17 Jun, 2010 - Fat Mike Imposts His Imposter

So there’s this guy, Fat_Mike, who’s been pretending to be me on Tweeter for several months now. I didn’t really pay attention cuz I’m not on any of the other social networks and I figured what harm could it do? Well apparently a lot cuz now this douche has 6000 followers and he’s a total prick. I don’t like someone going around making my bad name even worse. I get in enough trouble with the actual things I say. I don’t need any more help, thanks. So I’ve decided to actually start twitting on my own. This is totally retarded, but I gotta fight fire with…….well, drugs and alcohol. Here I go into the wild world of no privacy and way too much information. It starts here with my first twat:

My Tweeter name is FatMike_of_NOFX and I’m an alcoholic.
